The Soroptimist of Havre de Grace Live Your Dream Award Program is designed assist women in Harford and Cecil County, MD. The LYD program provides recognition by giving women the resources to further their education, help offset tuition costs, pay student loans or find reliable childcare. The program is designed to help constituents worry less about financial matters and focus on educational matters helping women to "Live Your Dream". Our signature Live Your Dream (LYD) Award program provides monetary assistance to women serving as the primary source of financial support for their families.

We proudly announce, our Soroptimist International of Havre de Grace, local "2019 Live Your Dream" award recipient advanced and was presented the Regional Level Live Your Dream Award.
Our “2021 Live Your Dream” award recipients are pursuing their dreams. Recently, this award provided a recipient the opportunity and means to attend the University of Valley Forge in pursuit of religious studies while another recipient was provided financial means to enroll at Dawn Career Institute to obtain her Cosmetology certification. These recipients received awards totaling $3,500 to attend educational or training programs in pursuit of their chosen careers.
